From their website: 'We do "Lunch" buffet on weekdays between 11am - 2.30pm. Come check us out!'
I visited this place with my mother and I was very pleased. This location use to be Elephant Thai but I guess they must be under new management. Regardless, the food was cooked fresh and the waitress was very attentive to our needs and keeping our beverages filled. The decor in the restaurant was ok nothing fancy. They have a full bar which is awesome for happy hour and a couple of LED tv screens on the wall. I would definitely recommend this place and will return in the future.
This place is awrsome!! Food is always delicious and service is wonderful! They serve Tofu which is a rare find here in hopewell.
Super great food and friendly staff.
Varied buffet and very reasonably priced. I am happy they had spicy sauces and plenty of rice!
Came here years ago when it was Elephant Thai. It has changed names and I assume owners. The service here needs help. It takes forever to get anything after lunch rush is over, not even during peak hours. We ordered Thai teas three times from two different waitresses and finally got them after thirty minutes. The Thai tea is really good, but they bring it to you in a wine glass and don't offer even one free refill. Order it without ice, and order ice on the side. This will be a decent amount and you won't have to pay for two or three if you like to drink a lot of it. We got the calamari appetizer and it was not good at all. Bland and overcooked chewy tubes of squid. I got the pineapple fried rice with shrimp and it was very tasty, but there were only 5 shrimp for a large plate of rice that cost $11. It also took a very long time to come. The servers and staff were all very friendly and the atmosphere is nice.
Came here because of thai friend that had try it before and i try the pepper stake and it was awesome happy costumer buffet only from mon to friday
Always have a great experience ordering here. Living here in VA, there isn’t much diversity, so Thai restaurants can be a little skeptical to me. I was pleased by the quality and taste in all the dishes. The staff is friendly as well. I love how it’s so close to the Army Base (right outside Sisisky Gate) in case my lunch is cut short. I would recommend this place to anyone. Enjoy.
Best Thai food I've ever had still go there frequently. They also have a daily lunch buffet that is amazing. Don't forget to try a Thai tea.
Great food, wonderful staff. Great customer service! Lunch buffet is phenomenal!
LOVE THIS PLACE only down side is they don't have buba tea.
They have excellent food and a great buffet during the week that changes daily .If you like this food this is the place to go for sure
The food was very good, very spicy. I got the red curry with spice level 5 of 7. Level 3 would have been plenty hot for this white German guy. Priced are low and portions are perfect.
Fist time trying thai. Very flavorful! Got the ginger ster fry with beef. Waitress was very help ful in helping me navigate the menue and giving suggestions and helping me decide the level of spicy i wanted which ended up being the perfect amount 👠veggies were nice and cruchy and the beef was very tender. Definitely will come back
This is our go-to Thai place. The food is great and the servers make you feel so welcome, even with small kids. Love it here.
Cute, clean establishment with quick and friendly service. Good food, very affordable.
Been to this place multiple times now and everything I've tried has been delicious. They also have a small buffet mon-thurs 11-2pm for a good price.
Great food and service. Always a pleasure to eat here
This is our Friday lunch spot. Food is excellent and the service is friendly and well prepared for the heavy lunch rush. If you're looking for good Thai at a reasonable price, this is the place!
Service was excellent! No one was there when we got there but it was the middle of the day so people are still at work. We ordered the papaya salad, crispy rolls, drunken noodles, and green curry. The prices are good! All that for less than 35 bucks. The portions are big and the spiciness was perfect. They have spicy levels up to 7. I didn't want to die so I chose a 5. Would definitely visit again. So much food that we had enough to take home for dinner and be full. Highly recommend this place.
Pretty decent Thai food. I don't live in Hopewell but it's nice to see that since the name change from Elephant Thai to Kacha I can get delivery to Colonial heights now for a fee. The fee was definitely worth it in the end to kill our craving for some Thai. We had a good experience with Kacha from putting in the order to consuming their product. I left a three star because I have had some stellar Thai before and I rate against my previous endeavors. This probably isn't fair to Kacha but I plan to increase my rating in the future if our orders stay consistent. Thanks Kacha!!
Love the Basil Chicken, THE BEST 🔥
This is a truly delicious Thai buffet located just right by Fort Lee. It has a decent amount of seating and the food is truly varied, tasty, and amazing for the price and location. Thai buffets are rare but this place not only exists but is of great quality!
Very hard to find thai buffet. Very large variety for lunch. Very good food for a very reasonable price.
Red curry duck. It was delicious the coconut milk is very distinctive and it's sweet and the flavor the curry has depth.
Ordered the fresh spring rolls, the papaya salad and red chicken curry. Everything was delicious. Only one complaint, the portion sizes were a lot smaller than I'm used to at other places. Service was excellent, friendly and never had an empty cup. Overall, great dining experience. I see myself eating there again and recommend it to anyone looking for good Thai food.
Food is okay. Service was excellent. I wish that it had more categories. we really enjoyed our waiter, Ann Marie. Unlike other restaurant, waitresses seem to help each other. Other one who was not our waitress serviced our table too. thanks
The food here tasted really good. I ordered the dumplings and the fried calamari; it was delicious. The food is not expensive. The ambience is calm and casual. My husband and enjoyed our experience here. The service was also great.
LOVED IT!! My husband finally tried something other than wings at a restaurant, and he loved it! Beautiful inside and great staff!!
The food here is amazing. Drunken noodles are delicious. Had my first Thai tea the other day and it was delicious. Absolutely love this place.
Best tofu Pad see ew and Thai tea I've ever had!
The buffet was the highlight. Restaurant is tucked away in a plaza but dont let that deter you. It's an all you can eat buffet and it was delicious.
Fantastic! My favorite place for lunch! The buffet changes depending on the day of the week and they always have fantastic, flavorful food and at least one decently spicy option with great dessert ♡ The workers are always incredibly helpful and friendly. I've never been unhappy leaving Kacha Thai.
This is my absolute favorite Thai place. I've been to many Thai places in different cities and states and the food here always tastes unbelievably fresh and so flavorful. Give this little hole in the wall in Hopewell a chance you won't be disappointed.
Not very busy the times we've been. Food is Semi-good. Maybe I'm not used to tomatoes in some dishes like they have. Service and drink prices are good also.
Awesome place to grab a quick bite to eat for a reasonable price. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly. I will definitely be returning and next time I'm bringing all my friends. I highly recommend.
Not Afraid to be Vegan FriendlyOrdered the Basil with tofu #5 of 7 on the spicy scale because generally I have found restaurants, even Thai, do not make it spicy enough. It WAS perfectly spicy, going with #5 next time, FINALLY a restaurant not afraid to cook with heat! I forgot to ask for it to be made with low oil because oil makes me sick, but they cooked it without the crutch of oil for flavoring. Good flavor and vegetable combinations. Omnivore visitors with us enjoyed their meals, too. The food quality is good-the vegetables cooked to perfection and fresh. Staff friendly and cheerful. The portions were fair sized and the prices were in line for Thai food. Don’t come here for atmosphere-basic surroundings, adequate seating but no ambiance. So easy to be vegan with great food like this. Probably my favorite meal out in the last few months. In fact I had Thai in Washington DC twice this week, and this restaurant beats them hands down.
First time here had the basil fried rice and didn't like it. Tastes weird. BUT I've had their drunken noodles 4 times now. It's the only thing I order and will keep coming back for them. A little more chicken would be nice, there's always little pieces.
Delicious it has more flavor into it
Certainly exceeded and smashed my expectations! I ordered the curry duck (minus the rice) and added broccoli - I ate every single available morsel of food. Friendly staff, very clean, welcoming atmosphere.
I LOVE THIS place! Came across this place a few months ago by shopping in the same shopping center and I am so glad I found it! Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and yummy food. The best Thai restaurant in the area, my opinion! My favorite is the Chicken Pad Thai (with no bean sprouts). The food is fresh and keeps me coming back for more. If you are looking for Thai food, check this place out!
Went to Kacha Thai restaurant, look for a Thai restaurant to call my own. Ordered the Thai fried rice, Pad Thai, Wotons and fried rolls. The fired rice was good a little salty, the Pad Thai was ok fried a little to long, the wotons were on point and the fried rolls where great. Overall good restaurant will try again to ensure this will become my Thai restaurant.
Good drinks, good food, great service, bad music, AMAZING deserts
Love the food except when bite down on something.so hot it chokes me. The Basil stirfry is delicious but even when you tell them no hot peppers still bite down on hot spots. The roasted duck has 3 hot peppers in front of it on the menu but is delicious and not that hot. The spring rolls are very good. The pad Thai is delicious and enormous. The banana dessert with icecream is delicious.
Delicious food 😋
Good food. Good service. Pineapple fried rice would be a little better with a few veggies in it, but would go back again.
